Jessica Good

Originally from Kempsey on the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales, Jessica Good began her journalism career in television in Albury in 2001.

Passionate about local issues and community news from the start, Jessica was assigned regional reporter, covering local issues on the New South Wales border and throughout North-East Victoria. Her career next took her to Mackay in Central Queensland where she joined the local newspaper, The Daily Mercury. After tapping into the region's mining and development boom, Jessica was trained as a police and court reporter.

Jessica returned to television in 2004, joining WIN Television's news bureau in Rockhampton, Queensland, as a senior journalist, producer and joint Chief of Staff. In 2005, Jessica seized an opening at WIN Television's Wollongong headquarters where she continued to report on a diverse range of local issues in the Illawarra. In 2006 Jessica headed further south to the company's news bureau in Australia's capital, Canberra, to present the weather and report on federal politics.

Since mid-2007 Jessica has presented Canberra's local WIN NEWS bulletin, a role she describes as a "dream job in one of the most interesting, news rich regions in the country".

A compere of both charity and corporate events, Jessica is also an ambassador for the Mothers' Day Classic, the St Vincent de Paul Society, Galilee youth services, and the Chief Minister's Reading Awards. She also supports a range of local charities.

Jessica's interests include reading, writing, art and sport.
