Hervey Bay cricketer Nathan Hauritz has survived an injury scare to earn his tenth baggy green in Perth today. Stand-by leg spinner Steve Smith was sent home after Hauritz was cleared of any serious damage to his right spinning finger, injured during yesterday's team training session.
This morning Ricky Ponting won the toss and elected to bat, Australia looking to snare a two-nil series victory.
