WIN TELEVISION 'TOURING WITH WIN' SCENIC TOURS COMPETITION

Terms & Conditions

1. Instructions on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms & Conditions of Entry.

2. The promotion is open to all residents of New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Australian Capital Territory, Tasmania, and Western Australia over the age of eighteen (18) years. Employees and immediate families of WIN Network Australia Pty Ltd and Scenic Tours and their associated agencies are not eligible to enter.

3. The promotion commences Sunday, 7th February 2010 at 9am EST and ceases 10am Saturday, 27th February 2010. (Competition Period). There will be one (1) major prize draw held during the competition period. All entries received up to and including, 10am Saturday, 27th February 2010 will be included in the major prize draw, with the prize draw taking place 10am Wednesday, 3 March 2010.

4. Participants may enter the promotion by entering their details via the WIN Television website www.wintv.com.au during the competition period only, as outlined in Clause 3. Featured on the WIN Television home page will be a specific 'The Heart of Egypt & Jordan' graphic that viewers must click through to enter their details via the online registration form. Viewers must correctly enter their details, including correctly answering two (2) questions relating to Scenic Tours and WIN Television's 2010 Programs as part of their registration. The question may vary throughout the competition period, however as all entries received will be time stamped, WIN Television will be able to ascertain the correct answer to the correct times a particular question featured.

   The registration form will ask viewers for the following information: Full name, address, primary and secondary contact phone numbers and age. Information provided may be used to form a part of the WIN Television database, if you wish to not have your details placed on any database there will be an 'opt out' clause on the online entry form.

   All entrants must be over eighteen (18) years of age at time of entering.

5. This promotion is a game of chance. All correct entries will form part of that random draw.

6. There is one (1) major prize to be won. Entries received prior to 10am Saturday, 27th February 2010, will be placed in the major prize draw which will take place 10am Wednesday, 3 March 2010 at WIN Television NSW Pty Ltd, Television Avenue Mt St Thomas NSW 2500.
   All entries from entrants aged 18 years or over with details that are completed in its entirety, including the correct answer to the Scenic Tours based question and the WIN Television 2010 Programs question will be eligible for the draw/s as outlined.

7. There is one (1) major prize to be won.

   The major prize to be won consists of one (1) x Egypt and Jordan holiday package for 2 people on the 18 day The Heart of Egypt and Jordan tour with return economy airfares for two from any major Australian capital city.

   • Name of Prize: 18 Day The Heart of Egypt and Jordan tour – (Tour Code TACJ)
   • Departure Date: Up to 12 Months from Closing date of competition – limited to availability.
     Excludes departures in and around Easter and Christmas/New Year.
   • Duration: 15 Days, 14 nights (excluding flight time)
   • Retail value of tour: Up to $6,795 per person (depending on seasonal departures and including port charges of $355)
   • Return Economy airfares: Up to $2775 per person (ex major cap cities on a specific airline on a specific class, including taxes)
   • Total prize value : Up to $19,140 (departing from major capital cities based on peak season) based on twin share basis, and return economy airfares on specific class – including taxes.

   Value of prizes depends on seasonal departures and city of departure. Value includes port taxes and charges which are subject to variation. Value based on twin share basis, and return economy airfares on specific class and airline.

   N.B: Pricing and itinerary is based on 2009 brochure. Value of the trip and the itinerary are subject to change.

   The major prize must be taken in accordance to the following terms and conditions:

   • Prize does not include travel insurance, items of a personal nature, meals (other than featured in the itinerary), laundry, telephone calls, additional nights or upgrades etc.
   • The Prize is non-transferable nor redeemable for cash.
   • The Prize is valid for two people and travel is valid for 12 months from the draw date of the competition and is limited to availability on set departures. Excludes departures in and around Easter and Christmas / New Year.
   • Prize is subject to availability at time of booking & can only be taken on a date already scheduled for this tour.
   • Prize is valid ex state major capitals only; prize does not cover regional flights, or travel to and from winner residence to the airport.
   • Prize includes 2 economy return airfares from state major capitals only flying on a specific airline of Scenic Tours choice and on a specific class. Any costs associated with returning to your place of residence are at winners own expense. Airfares are subject to availability on specific class.
   • The Prize includes 38 meals as specified in the tour.
   • The Prize includes air taxes and port charges.
   • Taking the prize is subject to any prevailing terms and conditions of Scenic Tours. See brochure for details.

8. All entries become the property of the promoter. Entries not completed in accordance with the rules and conditions or received after the closing date will not be considered. Indecipherable or incomplete entries will be disregarded. The judge's decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. The prize must be taken as offered and are not transferable or redeemable for cash.

9. The promoter is WIN Television NSW PTY LTD, Television Avenue NSW (Locked Bag 8800 South Coast Mail Centre) Mt St Thomas, NSW 2500. ABN 73000162854.

10. The major prize winner will be announced on WIN Television Saturday 6 & Sunday 7 March 2010 and will be notified by a) mail, b) phone c) and will be printed in The Australian on Monday, 8 March 2010.

11. Unless otherwise specified the class of travel for any travel prize incorporating airfare, is economy class and winners must be over the age of 18 to be eligible to win any travel prize. WIN Television NSW Pty Ltd are not liable to cover any additional costs that may arise, including, but not limited to, airport transfers, transport during the travel period and meal allowances, outside of those specified in clause 7. Travel insurance is the responsibility of the winner, and is not included in the prize.

12. WIN Television NSW Pty Ltd and its employees and agents will be fully released from and indemnified by the winner in respect of any claim for any accident, injury, property damage or loss of life in connection with winner's participation in the prize.

13. The promoter and associated agencies will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

14. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, postal failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. The promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries. The promoter is not responsible for any problems or malfunction the Australia Post service, computer.

15. In the event the major prize is not claimed by Thursday, 3 June 2010, a re-draw based on all correct answers will be conducted by WIN Television NSW Pty Ltd at Television Avenue, Mt St Thomas NSW 2500 on Thursday, 3 June 2010 at 11am EST by an official WIN Television Representative. Prize winner will be notified by phone and mail. Winner details will be printed in The Australian newspaper on Monday, 7 June 2010.
