Emergency services were called to Conjola Beach around 7:30, following reports the 48 yearold was missing in the surf after tryign to save his two sons froma strong rip.
Board riders retrieved the man an commenced CPR on the beach, paramedics soon took over but attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.
