Originally from Nambucca Heads on the North Coast of New South Wales.  Geoff started his working career as a clerk, labourer and professional punter before moving into media where he has gained a strong local following in both radio and television.

Entering radio in 1970 Geoff has graced the airwaves as breakfast host, morning announcer, sports coordinator, sports editor, program director, music director, promotions manager and trots caller at 2NM, 2NX, 2LM, 2WL, 2GB in Sydney, 2 double 0 and the Illawarra’s i98FM Rugby League Commentary Team from 1995 to 1997 before taking on the role of Breakfast News Reader in 1998.

In 1998, Geoff joined WIN Television as Sport Presenter, Host of Rugby League Round-up between 1992 and 1994 before hosting Sports Arena in 1996 and Host of the NBL summer season in 1999 a weekly 1-hour program “Hawks Air Time” which covered the progress of the Wollongong Hawks in the national competition including player profiles, interviews and match highlights. 

Geoff is part of the highly professional presenting team bringing people the most up-to-date local news every weeknight and describes his role as News Presenter for WIN Television’s News Bulletin as “challenging and interesting” but he especially enjoys the variety each day brings in the Newsroom.

Geoff has over 30 years of media experience and is a much sought after compere for various functions in the Illawarra region.
 
Geoff’s interests include gardening, reading, following the stock market and sport in general particularly basketball, rugby league, tennis and golf.
