*** OFF THE BENCH will return to WIN in 2010 ***

The show is hosted by award-winning AFL journalist Craig Hutchison, former Geelong star Liam Pickering and former St Kilda captain, Richmond coach and now AFL Coaches Association boss Danny Frawley.  Joining them each week is WIN sports presenter Sean Sowerby and Ros Lanigan from the Weekly Times.

Off the Bench is finished for 2009.  A big thankyou for supporting regional Victoria's very own footy show.

Off the Bench has been a revelation in 2009. Broadcasting every week of the footy season, the show has consistently been a ratings winner in its timeslot.

WIN Victoria General Manager Michael Taylor said it was another example of WIN's commitment to the local community.

“We have loved every minute of bringing the colour and passion of country footy to viewers right around the state," he said.

We hope to bring Off the Bench back for 2010, bigger and better than ever.  We welcome all feedback and you can do so by adding a comment below.

Not for ALL of Vic Country

I thought Off The bench was a show about country football? Watching the show now and there has NOT been one thing about the grand final in the CMFL (Swan Hill area). Very poor showing for a show that's meant to be there for all Vic footy. Oh and by the way, Balranald won the grand finial against Kerang. Wake up WIN.

Redan

great effort by Redan to win another flag after going close to folding during the 90s. Geoffry Smith is a great story, dropped from the 2s GF in 2006, then won the 2s flag in 2008 and then this yr played in the Seniors flag. Worked harder than anyone on his game and got the rewards
