Worksafe VCFL O&K Finals
By mtltmtat on 06:25PM Wednesday 25, Aug 2010
O&K Football final played at Nth Wangaratta which is currently in an atrocious state last Sat. President of league stated that would have been moved except too late to get liquor licence for another ground. So much for playing under the banner of Worksafe which was displayed everywhere. Let the players play on a ground that is unsafe rather than let the spectators go without beer? So much for the proper messages being sent through sport.

VCFL a joke!
By lipservice on 07:37PM Sunday 25, Jul 2010
Off the bench reported how some football leagues were suspending players who failed to represent their leagues. What a joke it makes the championships in Canberra where the Division 2 Captain pulled out but was able to captain his side (Elmore) in a 13 point win. Family was the reason (sick child), however, both kids were enjoying themselves at the footy on the weekend and to rub it in the VCFL over ruled and allowed him to play? interested in what you think?

players to watch
By bigtobes1971 on 10:06AM Monday 19, Jul 2010
i have 2 players to watch, brandon francis off morwell east, he is 16 plays in the seniors, gets his 30 to 40 possi's plus 2 or 3 goals a game, power said he was too small, no smaller than the number 1 pick off last years draft, im 40 and i think he 1 off best kids ive seen play, the other boy is 14 playing for youth club in central gipps leauge, played in interleauge carnival and was awarded best carnival player, brayden loch, not sure if power looking at him but they should, big power forward loves a big mark and goal. from wot i have heard living down here the last 2 years, is that the power dont really like looking at kids from the mid gippsland leauge cause its not 1 off the major leauges, im hoping this is wrong because we have some great kids playing in the 16s and 18s.
