Wests and Metropolitan Easts were simply playing for pride, having both lost their first round games they were out of finals competition.
The Trojans batted first and set the Warriors a target of ninety eight for victory.
The Warriors chase got off to a solid start with opener ben Luther finding the middle of the bat on the opening ball of the innings
Three balls later and Luther hit Wests first boundary.
The Trojans fought back in the second over only allowing two runs with Wests opener Tom Wand playing and missing at several deliveries.
With only a small total to chase the Warriors stayed in control, rather than chasing boundaries.
The openers providing the perfect platform for victory.
And while they lost wickets
They maintained the run rate passing the Trojans total in the eighteenth over with only five wickets down.
Number three batsman Chris Gillam top scored with an unbeaten thirty eight.
