The Federal Government's second phase to reform the nation's health system has met a mixed reception in Regional Australia.
Some regional MP's are describing Kevin Rudd's injection of more than half a billion dollars into doctor training as the shot in the arm regional health needed.
However others, being coalition MPs, say they won't be applauding any moves until they see the results from the Government's plan.
While the opposition leader says the doctor shortage is only half of the equation in regional hospitals.
