Every 18 minutes someone is reported missing… what happens next is the real life drama that unfolds daily at the Missing Persons Unit.

Allowing a unique insight into the work of field officers and forensics investigators from MPUs around the country, this series traces the last-known movements of at least four missing people per episode. Complex puzzles are pieced together as interviews are conducted with concerned family members and friends.

For most there is a joyful reunion but for an unfortunate few families, the agony continues as they wait for any shred of news of their loved one.
