Patel trial up to three months

Jurors for the trial of former Bundaberg surgeon Jayant Patel could be required for as long as three months.
The issue was raised in the Brisbane Supreme Court this morning, when lawyers discussed how they would secure the fifteen jurors needed for the entire case.
Justice John Byrne asked if people should be told how long they may be needed before being empanelled.
The review will continue tomorrow.
