Sherryl McFarlane, owner of the award winning Salon66 has been hairdressing for over 2 decades.
Her salon recently took out the Best Hair & Beauty Salon for the third time and one of her talented team has also won Employee of the Year in the Crown St Mall Business & Retail Awards.
One of Sherryl’s career highlights was to help Kevin Murphy -Australia’s ‘hairdresser to the stars’ launch his range of hair products in London at Salon International for the European market. Sherryl also worked alongside international hairstylist Pele as a colourist & stylist.
Her talents were recently showcased at Hair Expo in Sydney when she was part of the style team for American Crew and mop modern organic products hair shows.
Salon66 is part of the ASPYA group with DeLorenzo, a select group of salons working towards lifting the standard in hairdressing excellence.
Sherryl’s salon in the heart of Wollongong is frequently used as a training and educational salon for hairdressers throughout the Illawarra to learn the latest cutting, colouring and styling trends.
Salon66 has just introduced the very popular Princess Pamper Parties in the Wollongong salon. These are designed for girls 8 – 14 & 14 – 18 years old where each Princess and her party guests get their hair styled and nails painted as well as each receiving a small gift before they head out to their special occasion.
